4DRL Success: UNSTOPPABLE
October 26th, 2010
UNSTOPPABLE is a roguelike(ish) game centred around an invincible character with an unstoppable weapon. No enemies can harm the player, but with looping map edges there is a risk of complications when the unstoppable shots hit the impenetrable armour…

It’s hard, tense and fairly fun. I’m quite proud that I managed to make it in just 4 days. Hope you enjoy it, and let me know if you find any nasty bugs.
Yeah, targeting would likely be a good thing. Would be trivial to add too, since squares in front of bullets are flagged as “targeted” to help some of the advanced robots avoid them. High score file is something I have no idea how to approach, but I should probably learn that at some point!
The game can be tough if you fire too many bullets around, especially if the constructor bots all get killed. Walls are handy. I’ll be glad to hear of any other suggestions you might have :)
Awesome game, you are always defeating yourself :)
I thought I could create one unstoppable wave, but it’s not that easy… This will require more playing.
It would be nice if you could tell which way the bullet’s were going… maybe add a cyan square in front of each bullet?
Also, I would love a separate text High-score file with a little more info :)
